Macau is a weird place that I wanted to visit once and for all 11 years ago when I first went to Hong Kong but did not make it. Somehow for the last 12 months I ended up traveling to Macau on several business trips. And I must say Macau is definitely a very weird destination for business meetings, especially when your business has nothing to do with gambling, entertainment, or hospitality. I’m glad it’s all over for us, no more meetings in this Sin City. I’m also glad that I brought my camera with me this one last time, I did not bother to take any photo in previous visits. In hindsight, probably a bad decision as I could have shared with you a lot more photos of this crazy little place 🙂

The Venetian Macau is modeled after its sister in Las Vegas. It is the largest casino-hotel complex in Macau, and and one of the largest building in the world by floor area 🙂 Its designs features a few famous landmarks of Venice – Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Rialto Bridge, the Lion of Venice column & the column of Saint Theodore, and of course the canals.
